And the best thing, the very best thing of all, is there’s time now... there’s all the time I need and all the time I want. Time, time, time. There’s time enough at last.

Saturday is National Readathon Day. This is exactly the kind of 'thon I'm into. Mara-thon? Nah. Tele-thon? No thanks. Read-a-thon? OH YES. I can't wait to tell my cats.

While I have a whole list of books I'm hoping to read this year (40's the goal), I think I'm going to go with The Sisters Brothers. It's been on my to-read list for a bit and I just took it out of the library. I'm really (not that) surprised at how excited I am about Saturday. The official timeline is 12-4. Four hours of reading! Not that I couldn't plan that at any old time, it's just fun having a national excuse. And even more fun planning the day.

Since it's supposed to be nice out, I'm thinking I may start the morning with a hike around Radnor Lake, maybe draw a little. Get some Vitamin D and blood circulation in before my four hour sit-fest. Not sure if I want to read at my apartment curled up with cats or walk to a coffee shop. Or do half and half. So many options! Regardless, coffee and bookmarks will be a must.
