Best Valentine’s Day card (this painting is related to our first date - which Dan recreated tonight) 😍
I love this guy. Kind of a lot. Can’t think of a better man to be my first Valentine. 😍
Went from thinking I had a bug bite on my face to this in less than 24hr. One Dr thinks it’s cellulitis (don’t Google that - or spider bites - trust me). Waiting to go to the dermatologist to be sure. My body really picks the worst ways to get my attention. #iwokeuplikethis #quasimodo
Goofin around.
Getting into D&D with some coworker friends. Bought my very first dice from @krakendice and they’re perfect for a Halfling Ranger about to join a seafaring vessel. 🤓🐉🧙‍♀️🔮

Dan and I are starting work on a fun side project 🎨🎬🍆
I started taking swimming lessons at my local pool back in December (only TEN DOLLARS for DC residents!) and it’s the best decision I’ve made. I feel so much stronger in the water than I do on land, especially since I still have nerve damage in my legs and feet. My mood is better, I feel more active and actually look forward to going. I started Level 2 tonight and not only did the teacher make me go first in all the drills, but I got a high five after class. For someone who isn’t athletic and always chose volleyball over swimming in high school, it feels like a pretty big deal. 🏊‍♀️ .

2019 has not started out how I expected - with my grandfather’s funeral (losing him only a month after my grandmother) - followed by a virus that is either the worst cold I’ve had in years or a flu (tbd). My 2019 goal right now is to just breathe (literally, how is it possible for a nose to be stuffy AND runny at the same time??). No big challenges, no resolutions of grandeur, no bold statements. This year I just want myself to be healthy and the people I love to be healthy. And if you could stay healthy too, that would be great.
We totally missed the “ball drop” - oops. 😘 Spending New Years’s Eve eating good food, watching The Twilight Zone marathon and being goofy with my favorite guy. Dan is the best thing about 2018 which went out on a pretty rough note. I’m so so happy to go out on 2018 and start on 2019 with this guy. 😊 #sorrynotsorry
When Beverly tries to day cheese it sounds like “chaaaaaz”.
Christmas is a wrap! I’m feeling a lot like baby Bev in the last photo right about now.
Went to my favorite, the Museum of Moving Image with Dan. 😻
